It was the second night of our Melbourne Trip that happened just last month. After a whole day of going out and meeting her high school friends + doing some really random stupid stuffs with Eugene and Abelene, we settled down at this Italian Restaurant – Villa Romana along Lygon Street.
The staffs were pretty welcoming and the place was quite cozy and comfortable as well, there were quite a number of customers there as well when we were seated. I then thought to myself that this place must be not bad.
With the 4 of us, we actually just ordered 2 dishes as we weren’t that hungry at that time.
Risotto Funghi AUD $19.90 – 4/5
This was what Eugene and Abelene ordered. Apparently Abelene was craving for Risotto and me being me who seldom take Italian food, this is actually my first time trying Risotto. Yeah sad case huh? Anyways i like how it was cooked with the fresh mushrooms and herbs & just a little bit of cream sauce. Just nice.
Fettuccine Villa Romana AUD $21.90 – 4/5
Tossed with roasted chicken, dried apple, seeded mustard and cream sauce
Me and the girlfriend ordered Fettuccine Villa Romana instead, named after the place iself hehe. It was not bad either, with roasted chicken and dried apple, it was delicious and i loved it where they make it not THAT creamy like some other Italian Restaurant would do so. Yes i prefer less creamy but not too watery as well, err, asking too much?
At the end of the day, i guessed it’s the company that matters. I had quite a fun night then with the girlfriend and Eugene & Abelene. Lol. Would love to try other stuffs being served here if i have the chance to visit this place again. =D
